ESMO Congress 2010: head and neck cancers

HPV – associated head and neck cancer represent a new chapter in the therapy of head and neck cancer. Considerations for integrating

targeted therapies into the current treratments for head and neck treatmens are more or less stabilized. No new effective drugs were

introduced. There is again discussion about the usefullnes of induction chemotherapy in the therapy of locally advanced tumors or

preservation protocols.
