The possibility of nutritional intervention in cancer treatment

The article focuses on the nutritional support of the non-surgical cancer patient. International guidelines recommend nutritional intervention

with dietary advice and/or oral nutritional suplement during treatment for cancer patients who are malnourished or at nutritional

risk. Nutritional interventions increase nutritional intake and improve some aspects of a patient´s quality of life.
