Colorectal cancer screening

The most common premalignant lesions od colorectal carcinoma include sporadic adenomas. Precision and yield of colonoscopy depend

substantially on good preparation, careful screening of intestine and use of new instruments of better quality. The text briefly describes

options of endoscopic and surgical treatment of premalignancies. In 2014, a system of personalised invitations to cancer screening was

launched, which is expected to increase rather low coverage by colorectal cancer screening in the Czech Republic.
