Maligní phyllodes nádor prsu: kazuistická sdělení a přehled literatury

Maligní phyllodes tumor (MPT) prsu je vzácná jednotka s obvykle rychlým klinickým průběhem definovaným překotným růstem. Operace je jedinou alternativou léčby pevně ukotvenou v léčebných doporučeních, nicméně dosažení radikality výkonu může být v mnoha případech obtížné. Adjuvantní radioterapie ani chemoterapie neprodlužují nemocným život a jejich doporučení se opírá zejména o retrospektivní data. Článek reportuje několik kazuistických případů a shrnuje základní informace o MPT a jeho léčbě.

Malignant phyllodes tumor of the breast: clinical case and review of the literature

Malignant phyllodes tumor (MPT) of the breast is a rare entity, typically characterized by an aggressive clinical course with rapid tumor growth. Surgery remains the only treatment modality firmly established in current therapeutic recommendations; however, achieving adequate surgical margins may be challenging in many cases. Neither adjuvant radiotherapy nor chemotherapy has been shown to improve overall survival, and their use is largely based on retrospective data. This article presents several case reports and summarizes the current knowledge regarding malignant phyllodes tumors and their management.
